Respirator Masks

Kioma invented the first surge capacity, rapid response, full face respirator.  Made from flat material, it folds like origami.  It provides better protection at a lower cost than present off-the-shelf alternatives.  A respirator is a sealed system, so direct contamination via airflow is less likely.  It replaces the combination of a temporary mask + glasses + face shield, and is designed for long duration wear, and to be washable and reusable.

This is the first surge respirator for immediate, low-cost, and massively scalable production by communities, governments, and manufacturers worldwide.   It does not require the extensive tooling and lead times of injection molding, CNC machining, or thermoforming.  Anyone with die cutting or press-forming expertise (such as print shops) can quickly manufacture this at scale.
